Booking a table
A table request is confirmed once we have replied by phone or email. We hold tables for fifteen minutes after the booked time; after that we may give the table to someone waiting.
Groups, deposits and private hire
Groups of ten or more and private hire bookings may be asked for a deposit, which is deducted from the final bill. Deposits are refundable up to 72 hours before the booking; inside that, they are kept unless we can fill the space.
Licensing
We operate Challenge 25 and may ask for ID before serving alcohol. Children are welcome until 9pm when accompanied by an adult. We reserve the right to refuse service.
Food and allergies
Please tell us about allergies when you book and again when you order. Our kitchen handles all fourteen major allergens, so while we take great care we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free of traces.
The building
This is an old building with low beams, a few steps and some uneven floors. Please ask before you book if anyone in your party would find that difficult, and we will find you the right table.
Damage and behaviour
Dogs are welcome on a lead in the bar and garden. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave whose behaviour spoils the evening for other customers.
