What we do with what you tell us.
What we hold
When you book a table or send us a note we keep your name, contact details, the date and size of your booking and anything you tell us about allergies, dietary needs or access. If you pay a deposit for a group or private hire, the payment is handled by our card provider — we never see or store your card number.
Why we hold it
To take and honour your booking, to cook for you safely, and to reply when you write to us. That is all — we do not use your details for anything else unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Nobody, beyond the payment provider that processes deposits and the email service we use to reply to you. We do not sell contact details and we do not pass them to marketing companies.
How long we keep it
Records of paid deposits are kept for seven years because our accountant requires it. Ordinary table bookings and enquiries are deleted after twelve months.
Your say
Write to us and we will tell you exactly what we hold, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it where we are not legally required to keep it.
